| Comments: |
Ascended Flume and Liberty via Osseo first - mostly dry trail with a few minor muddy areas. Dropped back into Libery-Flume col, then bushwhacked down to Lincoln Brook Trail (about 1.5 hours trail to trail). Lincoln Brook Trail had it's usual mud pits. Owl's Head Path (marked with a cairn) was dry up the slide, but then wet and slippery as usual in the gully above it. There is *no* sign on the real summit right now as far as I could see, but there is a cairn. Beware, as there was a sign on the "old" summit. Took Brutus Bushwhack down - generally dry with a few muddy areas here and there. Took Black Pond Bushwhack to Black Pond Trail and out. |
