Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking lot was overflowing at 10:30 am. I was lucky enough to find a spot in the lot though.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: All were easy today. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Many of the water bars are close to being silted in and starting to rot. Looked like possible reroute below the lower crossing of Hale Brook? Orange flagging and a large tree has been cut flush with the ground. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: With a late start and busy trailhead I kept Marlie close for this hike. No major issues for dogs.

Bugs: They were out but not bad.

Comments: Part one of a double header today. The trail was in great shape.
