Plenty at the Highland Center and surroundings parking areas.... Busy day today! |

All were rock hoppable and easy to navigate. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in good shape but between Jackson and Pierce is a little wet. Not a whole lot to note here beyond the standing water on the trails. Always enjoy this loop no matter what. |

Isis had a great day today and enjoyed meeting everyone. Great to meet another Shiba too and understand the 'tude... Way to go on the hike Milo! |

Yes... They were out and biting. But I did not let this bother me. |

Did not see anything today... Unless you count the toilet paper... LNT Y'all.. Pack it out! |

Great trails for todays training hike... More weight was added to my LT pack and I did just fine. Webster Jackson was a great mix of ups and downs and water crossings. Lots of roots and rocks to navigate. Jackson Branch added to it with eh ascent of the summit cone... Great scrambles and slabs to hike up followed by a good rest a the summit. Going over to the hut is great with the bog bridges over the mud... Lots of water though so expect to get your feet wet. A rest at the Mizpah hut and then the ascent of Pierce... Ladders to help up the steep and then another good rest at the summit. Rocks and roots down the Crawford path to the Highland Center and my car. All in all another great day on the trails. |
