Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing the dry took a little thought and a couple leaps on slippery rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I walked Isolation West memorial day weekend and am very impressed with the improvements that have taken place in the last month. There are still sections that really need relo, as the trail is on lose, muddy side hills. The Eisenhower trail and Dry River Cuttoff are in much better shape than the nearby Mt. Clinton trail which is very rough at the lower sections.

Comments
Comments: Having made better time than expected on the Isolation part of this two day trip, I made the out and back to Monroe. There are no designated campsites on the Eisenhower trail. I was able to find a herd path that lead me about 200ft. from the trail to camp.

Yesterday on Monroe near sunset I had one of the best views I have had in a long time. Clear views to the Green mountains and ME mountains. Stayed above treeline until night-fall.
