Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: none an issue
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: trails in great shape. Garfield Ridge had lots of water, the ridge in the afternoon sun was bone dry
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Kali completed her second Pemi Loop. We decided that she prefers Winter to the warmth of almost Summer. She struggled a little on the ridge but water was shared, we found more at Liberty Spring and she was able to perk back up and finish strong.
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies kept us moving. Mosquitoes on the way to the parking lot were pretty annoying.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost my mind, don't miss it.

Comments
Comments: Great day for the second hardest hike in America. No side peaks, just hiking. On Bondcliffs in 2 hours 37 minutes. Hiked pretty strong all the way to Lafayette and then the heat had me falling apart a bit and Kali too. Lots of happy faces on the Garfield Ridge trail? Did they know where they were? lol. Always a fun ride. My fastest loop yet at 13.5 hours. Thank you Jeff and Karine for an awesome hike. Thank you Mark for snacks at the end, you rock! Great foot soak and ice cream after.
