Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All were easy today.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There was one big tree down between the two Greeley Ponds, another on the Mt Osceola Tr (somewhere between Greeley Pond Tr and East Pk I think) a very large one down on at a brook crossing heading down to Tripoli Rd, and one down just under a mile heading up the Mt Tecumseh Tr from Tripoli Rd. Other than that the trails are in great shape. Lots of trees have been cut at almost all of the viewpoints on Mt Tecumseh. The summit area has had even more trees cut.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy conditions for Marlie today. Saw lots of dogs out. Be sure to bring water for your dog and don't just rely on puddles and streams.
Bugs
Bugs: Some black flies along Tripoli Rd and on the ski trails. No issues in the woods or 9n the summits.

Comments
Comments: It was my first time doing this loop and I was able to tie up some loose ends. Not a big fan of the Greeley Ponds Tr reroute but it is what it is. Looks to be pretty tough for skiers now with all of the ups and downs. It has lost some of it's appeal to me being so far away from the river. Nice running into Crazy Bob and crew on the way up to East Osceola as well as a 5 year old girl climbing her first 4K. We passed Emerel too on our way down to Tripoli Rd but didn't realize it until after we passed. Thanks Matt for suggesting this hike. Glad I could accompany you and Theresa while you both picked up several miles of red lines.
