| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing on Sabbaday Brook were challenging due to overnight rain, at least earlier in the day.
Crossings on Pine Bend Brook Trail were OK. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Sabbaday Brook - A lot of blowdowns (more than 1/2 dozen) and a difficult trail to follow at times due to blowdowns and lack of markings. When to cross the brook, or not, was not always obvious.
Pine Bend Brook - Minor, much better shape than Sabbaday. |

Only saw one dog at the top, might be too steep in some sections towards the top for smaller breed dogs. |

| Bugs: |
No bugs to speak of until decent down Pine Brook Trail, then the black flies were very heavy until about 1/2 down when they eased up a bit. |

The beginning and end of the hike is relatively easy but you pay for it towards the top with some steep and challenging terrain. |
