|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
a few water crossings. Would definitely recommend higher cut waterproof boots for Falling Waters. Could get away with trail sneakers for sure, just be ready to do a lot of rock hopping/ avoidance as Falling Waters has certainly earned it's name.
None on other trails mentioned. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail's in great shape. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
saw a couple of dogs. One Westie (small terrier) |
|
 | Bugs: |
pesky black flies per-usual. kept moving to avoid them. None really on the ridge since there was a brisk wind. |

 | Comments: |
Sunscreen is a great idea if you're out on the ridge in the sun for a while. Ridge is very exposed to weather.
I would not have gone down Falling Waters, it was consistently steep with plenty of technical trail alongside waterfalls/ brooks. Greenleaf has snacks and a faucet for water re-fills. Old Bridle was a nice decent. |
