Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Two river crossings have bridges.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail blazes very old on this route and barely visible in many places. Lot of blow downs. Mostly easy step overs but a few were a little tedious. Trees are very large diameter trunks and will require tools for removal.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Very comfortable trails for dogs. Saw many.
Bugs
Bugs: None really. Chilly start and light breezes all day made bugs a non issue.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Couple of trekking pole snow baskets in the rocks along the way.

Comments
Comments: Trails in great shape. Very dry with only a few mud/wet areas. The only real issue was a fairly large double blow down as you're leaving the semi-clear blow down patch with the views as the trail cuts across the ridge to the North side of the crest. Second tree had a herd path going around that is on some shaky ground with holes in the tree routes that made footing a little awkward/shifty. Some loose rocks in the boulders on Jewell approaching Gulfside.
