Comments
Comments: Decided to let the weather clear and the winds decrease today and started a little later. On trail by 5:30pm and made quick work of the Ammo but not missing out on the Jem pool and waterfalls along the way. The sun was setting on the accent to Monroe. The lakes were no longer frozen but some good sized patches of snow still exist. With Monro out of the way it was time to run over to Washington enjoying the star filled sky. Windy on Monroe but just a lite breeze 6288'. Very enjoyable to be on the summit at night. It was a great dark night as the moon didn't come up till the hike was done.
