| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Got one of last spots in hikers lot on south bound side; nice couple waiting for my spot on exit. Backed up on I-93 both sides when driving back through in evening. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Two crossings of note 1 on way up Hi-Cannon where it looked inadvisable to cross on a slick rock slab so went 5 feet up above and 1 on way down Lonesome Lake Tr. near LL Hut that one crosses on couple of logs. Saw a deer right above this crossing; nice timing. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Hi-Cannon Tr. could use some brushing out. Rest of trails no real issues. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Ladder on Hi-Cannon most likely a problem for dogs. Plentiful water. |

| Comments: |
Morning hike of two; if I'd been 45 minutes later there would've been great views along hike. Up Hi-Cannon & KRT and down KRT & Lonesome Lake. Been so long since hiking Hi-Cannon it was like a new trail all over again. Some slick scrambles; but I think I prefer this route to the other popular routes. Steep trail on Hi-Cannon and on KRT below the Hi-Cannon jct. but done easily with care. On to the Moose. |
