Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No major troubles. So rock hopping, but not hard.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail maintainer for six husbands was out. On the decent I noticed and benefited from some of his cutting on the small section of that trail I used. He said Madison Gulf has no adopter. No major issues. Some blow-down. The fur limbs are growing into the trail, which got me a bit damp this morning. Not bad for a wilderness area.

Comments
Comments: Madison gulf trail had some very wet slippery rock. Some folks were coming down and really struggling. It was not bad going up, but still took care.

When looking at Mt. Washington, I noted a continuous opening (like a trail or road) that looked like it could cut distance roughly between mile 6 and mile 4 on the auto. Does anyone know if there is a path there? I would like to use it when hiking Chandler brook trail if it is in fact there.
