| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We were early and parked at Lafayette Place (South side) and there was still plenty. On return lots were full and out onto the highway. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Dodge Cutoff and the upper part of Hi-Cannon could use some brushing back. With last nights rain it was wet. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only saw one done low (Lonesome Lake Trail) on our return. The trails (Hi-Cannon, and upper Kinsman Ridge (south from Cannon) would be questionable for many dogs |
| Bugs: |
None. Wind was brisk. |

| Comments: |
Except for the trail not being brushed and the weather not breaking until we were back to the lake this was a nice route. If you don't like rocks and scrambling than coming up from Mittersill might be a better choice. Looked like some nice view spots on Hi-Cannon but we were clouded in.
Still a great day in the woods. |
