Water crossing at Carrigain Brook, could get by if boots waterproof/had hiking poles. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in great shape coming down Signal Ridge. Carrigain Notch Trail pretty good, nothing major. A few blowdowns on Desolution, particularly above 3,500' Most easily hiked around--2 or 3 a bit more challenge to get around. |

Riley enjoyed the hike. The rock stairs coming up Desolution might be tough for an older or larger dog. Riley, a 42-lb springer, needed a boost a couple of time |
