Comments
Comments: started around 10:30 with 3 of my buddies. Already told them it was going to be a wet day and probably viewless. With this in mind, we started out. It Was misting when we started. Got about 1/3 way up and started raining harder. Put on rain suit and kept working our way up the ridge. Few blow downs and minor mud lower down. About halfway up the footing gets more moderate with slabs and some eroded areas. Near the top of the trail there is a waterfall- near this part there was lots of standing and running water on the trail. After the waterfall it levels out until the ridge.
Once we hit the ridge there was a little clearing!! we were so happy. We saw the clouds settling in the valley and coming our way. We continued up Eienshower loop- lots of running water on this trail with slippery rock. It was awesome climbing to the top and sitting on the cairn. Going down wasn't bad- made it to car by 5pm. Overall awesome hike and will do again on a better day because I imagine the views are incredible!
