Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The first and second crossing of the Little River we rock hoppable on slightly submerged rocks. I opted for the bypass. The third crossing was a rock hop right at the trail crossing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are two large trees across the Twinway just west of the Zeacliff Pond Spur. The Twinway east of South Twin and east of Guyot is starting to become pretty brushy by AT standards. All other trail are in great shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We we first up the trail today so Marlie led the way. Lots of puddles from the previous days rain but be sure to bring plenty of water.
Bugs
Bugs: The black flies are out, especially in the aftwrnoon. We couldn't stay on Hale long and they followed us most of the way down the Firewarden's Tr.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: If I had a quarter for every little wrapper corner or piece of trash that I found I could have paid for my gas to drive up. I even found a tooth from a snowshoe crampon. Also found a map on the Firewarden's Tr.

Comments
Comments: Only a few small patches of snow left. Not enough to worry about any kind of traction. Marlie finished a 4th round of 4ks on North Twin and I finished a 7th on Hale. Pretty cool to have a hike that completed both. So nice to wear summer boots and pack.
