Bugs: minimal in AM; mosquitos, black flies, horse flies in crescendo assault by mid-day

Comments
Comments: Rain the day before left lower sections rather wet, but less so by mid-day. Rocks still a little slippery, especially on Notch section where trail is uneven footing. Cabot section is excellent trail. Clouds obscured view, but left misty ambiance.
