Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on Cascade Brook were all easy rock hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Pemi trail pretty much peeters out after the non-bridged crossing just after the Basin (southbound). Scouted around for awhile and ended up just whacking along the brook back to the highway bridge/Cascade Brook intersection.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Tucker had a blast, but some dogs my not like the steep climb/scramble on the ridge between Lonesome Lake and Hi-Cannon.
Bugs

Comments
Comments: Late report, but wanted to let folks know the crossings on Cascade Brook were both easy rock hops right now.
Also I lost the Pemi trail southbound just after the Basin. There is a tricky unmarked & unbridged crossing here. There are blazes on both sides, but not within sight of the brook, causing some confusion. From here the blazes and trail slowly disappear. Maybe I missed a turn? From where I lost it, it is a short 1/2 mile or so to the overpass near Whitehouse Bridge, just follow the brook though open woods.
Pemi trail from Profile Lake to Lafayette Place is beautiful, other than the road noise.
