No problems at Lafayette Place. In fact a Town of Lincoln PD cruiser came through in the morning |

Crossings on FWT easily doable by rock hopping-recommend poles |

Trails in excellent shape inspite of the water and occasional mud |

No bugs today other than at the bottom of OBP on the way down |

| Comments: |
Went up FWT-very wet on the slab rocks. Some areas had running water. Caution if coming down this way Franconia Ridge completely dry. No views due to blowing fog. Sun broke out on the way down. Recommend caution on OBP if coming down. Very slippery and slow going on the ledges below tree line after the hut. |
