We took what looked like the last spot in the lot at 8 am. A lot of folks came after us because there were many cars parked on the road at 4 pm when we got back. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |

The only real water crossing had a birch blowdown that was easy to cross |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Rollins trail had a lot of blowdowns, but most had been cleared up. Those that weren't were easily passable. |

Many, even a couple near Whiteface. I'm not sure if they went up the ledges. |

 | Bugs: |
There were a lot of bugs around, but luckily it was windy. |

This is a tremendous hike. I would do it on a nice day so you could take advantage of the views on the many outlooks. We pretty much did it in the book time of 8 hours. |
