Comments
Comments: the trail in to zealand hut is as easy as ever, with the road being open and graded. going up twinway to zealand we saw a moose around three thousand feet. between z cliff and the pond there is no snow. between the pond and zealand there is plenty of decomposing monorail that can be dealt with if you keep your head. stay in the very center 6 inches or so and walk the tightrope. or go around with care. no need for snowshoes going up to zealand, but i'm not sure how it is past going to guyot. the sign for turning north to the summit spur is on the ground fyi. at the hut last night the pipes froze and hopefully are up and running for a packed night tonight.
