Comments
Comments: Did this hike with 17 7th graders and 4 other chaperones--Very little monorail left, just mostly wet spots. Went up Crawford Path to Mizpah Hut, ate lunch and left off gear for the night and headed up to Pierce. Plan was to continue on to Eisenhower but as we were crossing the ridge line we started to experience freezing rain and high winds. Wanted to keep the students safe so headed back to the hut. Great experience for them to learn hiking safety. Next morning headed over to Jackson and back down. Trail in good condition.
