Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on both the old trail and the reroute were both easily rock hopped today with lower water levels.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Few blowdowns easily stepped over. Worked on a waterbar; hoping it will dry up a 50' section below it eventually.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: One brave one coming down stairs of tower when I arrived. Owner said he had to carry him up. Not your typical stairway. Water opps throughout.
Bugs
Bugs: Out but not bad.

Comments
Comments: Brought light traction and snowshoes but needed neither. Bottom half bare and upper half had a minimal monorail which was either shallow in depth for walking on top, narrow with room to walk on side or dirty enough for nice bareboot traction. Little more difficult coming down but easily done with care. Lots of nice hikers out today including great group from AMC with a few familiar faces. Good day for all!!
