Carter Moriah trailhead on Bangor Street in Gorham. No problems, only enough parking for 3-4 cars. |

Quite a few small avoidable blow downs and one big one (easy to get around). |

| Comments: |
Mostly dry trail up and over the ledges of Mount Surprise. Mostly avoidable monorail (postholed to my knee a couple of times) for about the last 1/4 mile to summit. Pretty deep snow pack at the junction to Moriah summit (not a problem). Great day to be out, forecast was for rain showers and there were none. |
