Lulu had an excellent hike, not much water past the Osseo cut-off but we packed it in for her |

there. One bite. Lots of flies buzzing around on summit - noisy but not bothersome |

Excellent day on the trail with pleasantly surprising conditions. Wore the heavy leather boots anticipating lots of water and mud but could have used trail runners on these trails.
Leave snowshoes and other traction at home. Saw a few headed over to Flume and not sure of conditions on the traverse but I would say within a day or two snowshoes should be packed away until next winter. |
