Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in great shape. I met the steward on the Snapper trail and thanked him for is great work on the Carriage Road.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Isis had a great day. This mountain is great for dogs. Bring water though as there is not a whole lot after 3300ft.
Bugs
Bugs: Ye, they were buzzing. No biting though.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Only the untamable was lost and found.... This is good.

Comments
Comments: Today was a perfect day for The Moose. I took the classic trip of Gorge Brook, Carriage Road, and Snapper trail. After 3300 feet, you are still dealing with rotten snow and a "monorail" in quotes because it's easy to get around it. I believe that this will be gone by Memorial Day weekend. The summit is bare and we actually had a view today. A quick trip for us. We were at the summit before noon (after starting at 7:30am). Snapper is clear of snow. All in all a great day on the trails.
