Comments
Comments: Attempted to do the Wildcats and Carter peak via Wildcat Ridge Trail -> Carter Hut -> Nineteen Mile Brook Trail. We got to the top of Wildcat E(?) just above the ski lift but after that the trail turned quite snowy. Lots of postholing and slipping and sliding. I think we were on a 1 mile/hour pace so turned back knowing that we could not complete loop. Snowshoes would probably helped, but the snow is very patchy so expect a lot of on/off with your traction, which will slow you down. I recommend waiting another week or so to attempt.
