Comments: I did Spring maintenance on my adopted Mt. Tremont Trail on 14-May-2015. There's more that could be done, but overall the trail is in decent shape.

Less than a half-hour into the hike from the trailhead on Rt. 302, you will come to a humungous blowdown. It's more than I can handle with my saw and axe. So, a workaround has been created which should suffice until the Forest Service can send out chainsaw crew.

Also, there are a number of old "step-overs" and "duck-unders". However, all are easy to negotiate with little or no need to break stride.
