First almost mile is snow free. After first bridge once on Gorge Brook Trail, a stable and icy monorail exists. Used microspikes for the next 1/2 mile or so, then switched to snowshoes until just above treeline. A posthole mess up high but I did not sink in snowshoes and they seemed safer judging the depth of some postholes. No snow above treeline. A beautiful warm spring day! |
