Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Snow/Ice - Postholes
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The first river crossing had deep fast moving water with very few exposed rocks to traverse. We ended up taking our boots off to cross. Brrr!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are no yellow trail blazes for approximately the last 2 1/2 miles of the climb. This was very confusing. Since we didn't have snow shoes, but needed them, and weren't sure if we were on the right trail, we never made the summit :-(
