| Comments: |
Sweet day out..high thin clouds kept the sun down a bit and created some haze but views were still excellent..most folks we saw out today were hut to hutting..Trails in excellent shape with some brushy spots.. Late winter cutting on Jewell quite evident with a wide open corridor..many water bars recently cleared..a snow patch here and there..tried a different route to Jefferson following Cornice and Castle Ridge..rough and rocky route of no redeeming value , a thought echoed by friend met on the summit |
