Comments
Comments: Went up Valley Way to Madison Hut. Lower part is mixed monorail, wet trail and mud. Monorail becomes more consistent after tributary to Snyder brook.
Trail becomes all snow after junction of Watson Path.
Used traction then snowshoes (because we had them) on upper section mostly for televators.
Used snowshoes to the summit of Mt.Adams and back taking advantage of snow fields. Around one to two feet of new snow. Snow is stable and packed where post holing would not be significant. Previous conditions are as of today. It will change in following days.
Ascent of Madison is bare enough where light traction is significant.
Great day above tree line with Gary T. Little to no wind with warm temps.
