| Comments: |
Dry trail until just below switchbacks; then a wet and muddy section followed by increasing snow depths. Used snowshoes once into 6"+ snow coverage. Shoes kept all afloat today and bareboot traffic didn't seem to be post holing too much either. Lower section of snow coverage getting very mushy in the afternoon. Only difficult parts today were trying to rock hop in the wet section and coming down off the summit upright with the sticky, softening snow. No recent traffic towards Galehead or Lafayette. |
