Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: two cars in lot when I got there, 5:30am?, really? 10 or so at the end.

Surface Conditions: Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: none an issue 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: birch down low, pine a little farther up, both within first mile or so. I removed what I could out of the trail while still moving along. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Kali tracked small animals all the way up. Sometimes I wish she had cruise control and brake lights, stop and go in front of me the entire way! Geesh. She rolled in the snow, pooped above treeline and had an absolute blast.

Lost and Found: found a mint 
 
Comments
Comments: Early start to avoid the soft snow as much as possible. Woke up too late for sunrise, no regrets there. Always a good hike up Glencliff. Great morning out. Then lots of family time. Good day all the way around.
