Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: i parked on concord end road at its first junction with the ridge trail signed as leading to spring road. probably better to park at the headquarters and walk as the road was rough and soft on the shoulders making it hard to turn around or park.

Comments
Comments: trails were in nice shape and well blazed. the tower (observation platform) is at the junction of the ridge trail and monroe hill trail. nice view to crotched and i believe willard and bald. i continued on monroe hill trail back to the ridge trail and where it began to descend bushwhacked mostly through regrowth in logging cuts to the summit of monroe hill which has a house on it. i poked my head out and turned back into the woods. probably makes the most sense to visit the tower and call it good so too many people don't end up poking around their backyard. at the junction with spring road i followed it back down to the car.
