Comments
Comments: Lower elevations had lots of running water and mud. There are sections of snow but more sections with no snow. Put snowshoes on around 2500 feet right where the moose had been post holing. Shoes made it easier to navigate around all the post holes. Kept them on all the way to the summit. There were a couple of sections of bare ground but they were very short and presented no problem. Wore the snowshoes down as well. The snow was a lot softer and looser as I was coming down and all the snow bridges were falling in.
