Comments: After Tuesday on Tecumseh, I had to go back and ride True Grit - it was TERRIFIC! High Country was pretty fun, too!

I ascended via the Valley Run area which had pretty good, almost continuous snow coverage. From there I took Oblivion up - it had been plowed but it wasn't bare either - kind of icy so I took to the edges of the trail to skin up. Sosman had some big postholes but I was able to skin over them. The bump in halfway along the Sosman Trail was its usual PAIN to get around on skins. Then, from the Tecumseh Trail fork to the summit, I barebooted in fat snowboard boots without traction.

Very fun descent - my first time riding True Grit - and, with the spring snow, it was amazing!!! Truly amazing! Lots of tracks but I had a blank canvas on skiers right once I squeezed through a narrow channel up top.
