Comments
Comments: Kali and I went up VW to Madison. Slow going up Osgood from the hut. Pretty good wind and very low visibility. Got to the lee side and added layers, it was hard to chose between snowshoes and traction. Snowshoes are seriously needed on upper VW and lower Osgood but not otherwise. Slow and tedious beating the MSR's into rocks and finding my way. Back down, jiggidy jig and over toward Adams. Here it got real sketchy. Wading through green pea soup clouds, still good amount of wind, couldn't find the trail. Decided I will pull an all nighter this week when I can see, gotta live to tell. On the way back down, sticky snow! and light rain. Took Beechwood Way to at least pick up a redline. We will be back.
