Comments
Comments: Beautiful day. Started bare-booted but put on microspikes after 1/4 mile. Trail was muddy and wet for the first mile. Didn't need snowshoes at all. Post-peak, we took Sosman to the ski trails to butt sled down. Sosman had a very, very narrow monorail with many, many postholes. Butt sled down was fantastic, used Ruthie's initially. Met a couple skiers. Snow got scarce towards the bottom. Can't imagine there will be much opportunity to sled down after next weekend.
