The Basin was busy today in the nice weather. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Spring Snow, Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Slush, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All are open and flowing well. Crossing was easy. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Nothing of note... Trail is significantly deteriorating in the Spring conditions. Compounded by a lot of people breaking through the monorail, it was a tougher descend than ascend today. |

Isis did get for yet another visit. These trails are very dog friendly. |

Today, after Isis' vet appointment, we went back to Franconia Notch and intended to catch sunset on Liberty. We were quicker than i thought we would be and so, we settled on a late afternoon on Liberty which was equally good. Lots of people coming down as I was coming up and many without snowshoes or the proper footwear at all for the season. The trail was significantly deteriorated on my descent but I think the saying goes.... Last one out in snowshoes packs the trail. Just not before she falls a few times. Well worth it for a trip to my favorite peak. |
