| Comments: |
Started with micro spikes (about 9 am) and then switched to snowshoes at the sign. Going up to East Osceola was no problem. From there over to Osceola, the trail is a hit or miss (it was also warming up quite a bit)- some sections were easily trekked and other parts are ankle twisters. I was the only one wearing snowshoes; everyone I saw had spikes or bare boots... so the trail in early after noon was trashed- full of post holes and rather uneven, making it tricky and frustrating. Welcome to spring! |
