The monorail is either nonexistent or in pieces at the lower elevations. The trail consists of rocks, mud, running water, snow, and ice. As the trail enters the coniferous woods, the monorail is basically stable. Postholing was a slight issue on the way down, as temperatures had risen above freezing at that point. |
