| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Non plowed section of the parking lot if well pack at this time I still would be cautious with cars on it but the plowed section is is good shape. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No issues |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I had some confusion when I came to a T intersection on the kinsman trail map does not show any trail intersections. Could be helpful to have a sign pointing the correct direction. Also there were a few minor blow downs. One walk around and one crawl under. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
My pup had no issues today |
|
| Bugs: |
None yet but they are on the way. I live in the concord area and have seen ticks already |

| Comments: |
Started my hike at 2am trail was solid. Coming back from south kinsman trail had warmed up a bit and I did post hole maybe 3 times. With warmer weather Id suggest snow shoes above the bald peak intersection. I used micro spikes car to car. |
