Carriage Road had about 6-12" of snowmobile packed frozen granular. Smooth sailing on snowshoes, but could also be barebooted until temperatures increase. A few very small bare spots that will grow as the sun hits.
Green Trail was also hardpack from snowmobiles with a few short stretches of blue ice. Exposed ice patches will likely increase as snow melts. Trail could have been barebooted this morning, but snowshoes provided wanted traction. Snowpack is probably on average about 2 feet in the woods in this vicinity. |
