Critter & I had great day. Barebooted until the turnoff for North, then micro spikes. Light wind at the start but bluebird, and sat for a while on the North Summit in the sun -- so nice. Tried the butt sled down from South...got going WAAAAY too fast, so dragged the sled and tried butt sledding sans sled. Still nearly too fast, but super fun! On our way out, we met three guys with skis/snowboards who were on their way up to ski the Slide -- would have loved to see that. |
