Comments
Comments: I parked in the small lot just down the road from Crawford station. Only car at 8:30am and only one upon departure at 3pm.

I opted for snowshoes for the whole hike. I would say A-Z trail up to Mt. Tom Spur is packed well enough for light traction without worry of post-holing.

Clear skies on my way up to Mt. Tom and Mt. Field. Clouds started rolling in on my way to Mt. Willey and started spitting some flurries on my way back down to Mt. Avalon. Rain for the rest of my hike out after bagging Avalon. Snow was getting nice and sticky on the descent.

Great to be out, not so great to forget a towel.
