| Comments: |
Packed granular on Great Gulf Trail, with occasional drifts of a few inches in the open glades. On Osgood, drifted new snow -- a few inches down low, 4-6 inches by the tent site, rapidly increasing to a foot to two feet before treeline.
We wore snowshoes almost the entire day, except for traction on a few glaze-ice sections up on the ridge near the summit. |
