Comments
Comments: Great day. Trail was well packed, mostly by skiers, until the upper half of the FWT when it was a bit less consolidated but still easy to move on. Some deep post holes up high by bare booters. By afternoon the snow had warmed up and was a bit on the sticky side - it was balling up on my snowshoes for the last couple of miles.

I was in snowshoes the entire way. Everyone else I saw was in skies excep on the summit where a few people had come up from the Zealand Rd. side in snowshoes.

It was 30 with a bit of snow in the morning, 35 on top with clouds, and 40 with sun by mid-afternoon. The thaw will make the snow hard and crusty with tonight's drop in temperature.

Loved watching Ching the skiers come down through the beach glens.
