spiked up the ski slopes and put shoes on for the ridge and just kept them on for the rest of the day. original plan was to get Carter Dome in addition to Wildcat and "D", but the trail was not broken out from Wildcat leading into the notch and i wimped out. wanted 10 winter peaks this season, but i'll settle for 6. it was an all around good day to be out and spend the last day of winter on the trail. i was solo, but ran into some fine chaps who didn't mind that i was dogging them. |
