Cold start at one degree. 1 to 2 inches of fresh powder. Major drifting around pond below hut.
Many thanks to Pam W's crew and the 5 AMC hikers who broke out the trail. They did an incredible job navigating thru the thick spruce from Zealand to Guyot often losing trail.
A special thanks to Bill Cronin for dropping us off at Zealand Rd.
A wonderful end of the day was finding 2 PBR's on my windshield. Thanks Hiker Ed...they really hit the spot!
